The easiest way to refresh your outdoor deck or patio is by using splashes of color. Sometimes it only means using a few accent pieces that make a bold statement and your outdoor living space benefits from that. You don’t always have to buy new. Here are some tips to help you starting.
Before starting, clear everything off of your deck or patio and give it a good pressure wash. This is actually a great spot to start with colorful accents. Try painting in a bright way your fence posts, or paint a pattern or border on your deck.
Show that you are ready for socializing with your deck. The addition of metal furniture is inexpensive and can be in lots of great colors. Place a colorful bar cart and load it up with bright acrylic glassware.

The garden sheds don’t have to necessarily be colored on a boring brown. Add colorful window boxes and some wild stripes on the walls.
Your patio area as well can be refreshed by adding colorful lanterns or strings of lights can be hung from overhanging trees.

Try using colors by tying everything with your accessories. Take four chairs and paint them in a different primary color then add a cushion in a common color such as green or red, and place them around a neutral table top.
